Every Kid Can Play
$25,000 Grant to Reduce Costs for Adapted and Inclusive ProgramsWe are thrilled to announce that we have received a $25,000 grant from the Government of Alberta’s Every Kid Can Play program. This generous funding will directly benefit our community by making our adaptive and inclusive programs more accessible to families.
Thanks to this grant, we are significantly reducing the cost of registration for three key programs designed to support individuals of all abilities:
- Adapted Aquatic Therapy — Now $59 (formerly $159), this program provides therapeutic swimming sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of participants, enhancing mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Learn more and register here.
- SwimAbilities® — Now $39 (formerly $99), this swimming program is designed for individuals with diverse needs, offering a safe and supportive environment to build confidence and water skills. SwimAbilities welcomes all children aged 3-16 yrs who are not yet ready for regular swim lessons, regardless of having a diagnosis. Learn more and register here.
- Multi-Sport (All Abilities) — Now $40 (formerly $140), this fun, inclusive program introduces participants to various sports and activities, fostering teamwork, skill-building, and physical activity. Learn more and register here.

With 325,000 square feet of space, SLS Centre is an outstanding facility for our community to commit to one’s physical and social wellness. We, at SLS Centre, are committed to helping you, wherever you may be on your journey of wellness. SLS Centre is open every day of the year, with the exception of Christmas Day.
