EggaPOOLooza
EggaPOOLooza is our unique spin on the traditional Easter egg hunt – hosted in the pool! Dive into the Jayman BUILT Aquatic Centre to collect colourful floating and sunken eggs, with special golden eggs offering extra prizes. With multiple 45-minute sessions, including a sensory-friendly option, this family-friendly event is a splash of Easter fun for all ages!
Trunk or Treat
Our Trunk or Treat event offers a safe and festive alternative to traditional trick-or-treating, featuring creatively decorated vehicles hosted by local businesses and community members. Enjoy games, activities, and plenty of treats in a family-friendly environment. This completely free event is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween and connect with the Cochrane community. The event takes place each year right around Halloween. Keep your eyes out for the next dates!
Stop, Drop & Run
Get ready for next year’s Stop, Drop & Run Obstacle Challenge – a thrilling 5K run and obstacle course adventure for all ages and abilities! Conquer 18 exciting obstacles solo or with a team, or let the kids enjoy a special obstacle-only course. Proceeds support the Cochrane Firefighters Assistance Charitable Society, making it a fun way to give back. Stay tuned for event details!
Rockin' Rudolph Reindeer Run & Jingle Dash
Another annual favorite is the Rockin' Rudolph Reindeer Run! This festive 5K run or walk along the Bow River is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Plus, kids 2-7 can join in the fun with the Jingle Dash – a free 100m dash hosted by Santa himself (with a food bank donation). It's a holiday tradition the whole family will love!
Summer Kickoff
Join us for our annual Summer Kickoff event at SLS Centre! This free, family-friendly celebration features bouncy houses, sports activities, a dunk tank, face painting, and beer gardens for adults. The evening culminates with a late-night drive-in movie. Mark your calendars and help us welcome summer in style!
